Hello visitor! I am Selima!
I am an Asian based freelance graphic designer trained in Architecture and Graphic Design.
I have a passion for designing detailed, creative, bohemian, chic and modern graphics. I'm always keeping an eye on the latest trends over typography, shapes, colors, etc.
Inspiration for my designs comes from everything around me - from print, textile and current trends to travel, nature and my family and friends. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and feel fortunate that I'm able to follow my dream.

My Journey to the design world
I started my creative journey as a child while growing up in Soroti in a small town in Uganda, Africa. Being surrounded by the wide-open spaces, the constant inspiration of nature influenced my love for drawing and art.
I am fascinated by the ever changing forms found in nature and find much of my current inspiration there. When developing a theme, a large emphasis is placed upon drawing, painting and manipulating materials before fine tuning aspects digitally.
When I’m not designing, I spend my days experimenting with colors, trying out new recipes, painting/sketching, reading quotes, crafting something, practicing with my drawing skills or creating digital brushes and patterns.

I take only a limited number of projects at a time so that each project gets the attention it deserves throughout the process –from start to finish. I take projects which give me freedom to design however I like to, based on my clients’ requirements. My ideal clients are creative companies and individuals who are passionate about their work and have a strong urge to stand out from the crowd. I listen to my clients’ needs carefully and involve them in homework before the project actually starts. Along with all the dedication and effort I put into each project I ensure timely responses (and expect timely feedback as well) and attention to detail so I’m proud and my clients are completely satisfied and happy with my work. Putting it in one sentence, each one of my projects is very special to me and I try my best to ‘live it’.
